White, the new bright objects Ville Kokkonen for Artek Furniture Fair 2011

Today begins the most anticipated design week at an international level, the Salone del Mobile 2011, and among the new features that you can find, there are bright objects in the new collection designed by Ville Kokkonen for Artek.

This is White, a line consists of four pieces plus a fifth which will be launched later this year.

The objects in this collection are the result of a study by Artek use of lighting in a domestic setting, in offices and public spaces.

Clearly inspired by the white, and in the name and design, the new lamps White Artek pursue a formal minimalism, which makes them suitable to fit in many contexts also different.
