Venus, a tribute to the seat Caprichair

Her name is Venus and is the new chair designed and built by the famous company Cerruti Baleri on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Caprica, a real best seller designed in 1990 by Hannes Wettstein. Cerruti Baleri chose the important meeting in Paris with Maison & Objet, 21-25 January 2011 to present Venus, born from the creativity of a chair of the Research Center to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the famous sitting Caprichair.

Cerruti Baleri presents Venus, an armchair compact but very comfortable founded on the basis of the famous chair Caprichair designed decades ago and today has become a veritable icon of the company.

From a technical standpoint, the new Venus chair takes in every detail the shape and design of the historic session. The padding that it was changed to provide sitting more comfortable and soft shapes and lines characterized by less rigorousroses.

Another major innovation of Venus is the attention given during the selection of the ecological process: it has been completely eliminated the foaming process which makes upholstered traditionally not disassembled and disposed of.

The result is a striking armchair eco-design characterized by a large and comfortable sitting ideal to rest, watch TV or read a book with the ability to obtain a semi-horizontal position of the body.
