We talked about the British designer Claire Coles about his ceramic inlays were made of lace as light. Meanwhile, his work has evolved and focused in particular on the wallpaper, while continuing to experiment and play on the texture of overlap between the materials it uses.

Its really are real installations tailored to enhance the environment: using vintage wallpaper and scraps of silk and leather, re-creating intricate decorations, sumptuous colors, which are sewn together on the wall as if they were embroideries.

Each design is different and seems to emerge from the pattern that covers the rest of the wall, adding color to the impact a tactile, three-dimensional. Claire Coles customers are private individuals, but also boutiques and department stores such as Selfridges or Liberty of London who have chosen his creations for their own environments.
