Triennale Design Museum, in collaboration with ICE and with the partnership of Unicredit, has the 2.0 The New Italian Design exhibitionThat will be hosted Istanbul Santralistanbul at the exhibition center, until January 23, 2011. The exhibition presents a survey on contemporary Italian design that documents the changes and the link with economic, political, technological century.
Triennale Design Museum, the first museum of Italian design, directed by Silvana Annicchiarico carries with it shows a path analysis, development and promotion of the new Made in Italy. Emerges as a rich and varied, running from furniture design to embrace new forms of communication, from food to web design, from fashion to textile design, jewelry design, graphics and multimedia to the furnishings and all ‘objects.
The exhibits range from a self-produced products in large series by art objects to other purely Industrial. Many of the designers involved are already established and working internationally for major companies.
The New Italian Design 2.0 is the expanded and updated version of the exhibition presented for the first time in 2007 at the Milan Triennale, Derived from a survey on a national scale with the intent to focus on the transition into the design from the twentieth to the twenty-first century, highlighting the substantial change in the role of the profession. The exhibition features 282 projects, With 165 on product design, 30 on Graphics, 54 up items related to the body as jewelry, handbags and accessories, 14 research, design 14 on food, 5 on interior design.
