The Fruit of Thomas Feichtner Wiener Silber Manufactur

Fascinated by the history of Viennese silver, Thomas Feichtner has created a fruit bowl for the famous manufacturer Wiener Silber. Instead of opting for body with a traditional round container, the Brazilian naturalized Austrian has chosen to place the fruit on a pedestal. It almost seems that the fruit may roll along the legs of the structure, while it remains stuck at the same time giving an idea of ??movement and stability.

The bowl reminds so insistent on his stool “Linz Hocker,” with the body bent in silver which gives an almost sculptural blending into the catalog of the Wiener Silber and distance with a flash creative is not difficult to appreciate. The item is in silver and measures 170 x 170 940/000 x 200 mm. More info on costs and sales are on the website.
