Led Lights: DNA Karim Rashid Slide

It’s called DNA and is the newest project of LED lighting born from the creativity of Karim Rashid for Slide , a company Made in Italy “young and dynamic company specialized in making plastic furniture and lamps of high design. This is a project created to illuminate the city of Milan and presented at the LED Festival 2010 , an event dedicated LED lighting that has involved young designers and prestigious international scene.

The collaboration between the celebrated designer Karim Rashid and the brand “Made in Italy Slide DNA was born, a project of urban lighting has been set up along Corso Monforte Milan at the important meeting with LED Festival 2010 .

S is a light installation with an extension of 100 meters : a network of lights, colors and ideas in the sky of Milan, fully lit with LED technology.

Achieved through the use of modular units of about 2 meters each intertwined to form a spiral lighted DNA was designed as a reinterpretation of the traditional festive lighting to accompany and guide the citizens and visitors to discover a new vision of urban spaces inviting for socializing a time when public places were places of meeting and sharing.
