Lamp Arc Lamp Ad4610 Romain Duclos

The lamp Ad46/10 Lamp is a project of the 1980 French designer Romain Duclos, Then very young, after Paris, he started his career at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he charmed by the Italian design and in particular that of Achille Castiglioni, So much to offer this revised version of the famous Arco lamp. Surely it is difficult to compete with a project that has marked the history of contemporary design, but the proposal does not betray the expectations of Duclos.

In the light of lamp Ad46/10 Romain Duclos, offers characters very similar to its “parent”, or the Castiglioni Arc Lamp, But differs significantly in some key areas.

The base and the lamp remained virtually unchanged, Except for some minor change, while the arch has completely changed the characteristics of fragmenting into several parts.

A series of arms supporting a string of bright red, to create an arc de-structured, with a new geometric shape perfectly in line with the spirit of eighties design.

Definitely a very fascinating and valuable project that intelligently interprets a classic of the past still much loved.
