The Glass Food Covers Switch Design from Japan and are born from an idea or better still a need for fairly widespread in all families, that of being left with a single slice of cake left in the pot, one puff, one portion of dough baked and not knowing how to keep it. Whenever you end up mummified in layers of cellophane or aluminum or leave it there to dry, waiting for the next attack of hunger. Here’s the Switch Design has decided to take to heart the fate of these poor remains of food in the dishes that are inedible.

The Glass Food Covers are glass covers the exact form of paste, cake, pastries, sushi, onigiri rice balls in, to compensate, to oranges, etc., which serve to keep the leftover food.

The idea of making these kitchen accessories came from a project designer Nipponese Hiromi Taki and Tomonori Ohata Switch Design of the study, which have been so attentive to detail to even think to cover a slice of pie, with plenty of space for possible icing.

The covers are hand-blown glass artist Sayaka Kanazu and were made ??for an exhibition dedicated to the emotional relationship with food.
