Inception Chair the chair of Concentric Vivian Chiu

Perspective game, sculpture or film applied to the design inspiration, this “Inception Chair” by designer born in Los Angeles (but grew up in Hong Kong) Vivian Chiu is a concept that comes dall’archetipo chair and declines in ever smaller concentric copies. Each is equipped with hand-carved grooves on the inside edges of the seat frame as the notches on the back.

The mechanism works thanks to the pins that enter into the grooves of the larger chair and go to their place so that the horizontal border between the seat and backrest of the chair is online. The simple join can be taken apart and put together the chairs with ease.
