The Christian Dior creative director John Galliano was asked by luxury London hotel Claridge’s to design a festive tree, the first time in its 112-year history that it has collaborated on its Christmas decorations. An elegant white creation that stemmed from the base of the hotel’s sweeping foyer staircase, stalked by icy blue leopards along the way, the tree was shown off in all its festive glory to a fashion crowd including Paul Smith, Henry Holland, Ben Grimes, Lulu Guinness, James Brown and Stephen Jones.
