Cassina Stools: LC 14 by Le Corbusier

The stools Cassina LC 14 have been reissued by the prestigious brand, which has put on the market a project of the great Le Corbusier, is still very topical. The idea is to create furniture that appear to containers, to meet the needs of modern homes, where it becomes necessary to maximize space.

Cassina put into production two projects of Le Corbusier: Model LC 14 01 Tabouret Cabanon, 1952, a chestnut-colored stool in solid natural two-dimensional square with side.

This piece of furniture is designed for the famous Cabanon, the refuge on the Riviera of LECO.

LC 14 02 Tabouret, is instead a stool with three dimensions, designed by Le Corbusier in 1959 for the Maison du Brésil, university residence located in Paris.

The element is made solid oak, Dyed with natural system of interlocking dovetail corners.
