Bamboo Bench, bench the natural Gal Ben-Arav

The bamboo canes are a symbol of strength and flexibility. In reality, the bamboo is a sustainable resource, because of its recycled fiber, the speed of generation in nature and the ease with which the plant can be adapted to different climates.

For these reasons, the young Israeli designer Gal Ben-Arav chose him to develop his diploma project at ‘Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Bamboo Bench is a bench made of two bundles of bamboo left rough to form a sitting one the back and held together by an aluminum structure. The result is a piece of furniture is ideal for gardens and terraces urban areas in search of a touch of exoticism.
