Armchairs Meritalia: The End of Gaetano Pesce

It could not be Gaetano Pesce This quirky and cute chair! It’s called The End and is a collection of sessions signed by the eccentric Italian designer for the historic and renowned brand Made in Italy Meritalia. The collection of chairs Meritalia Without End includes chairs and ottomans self-supporting structure that is not true, made entirely of extruded polyurethane hot. The result is a product design original and fun environment ideal for decorating with style young, fresh and informal internal and outdoor.

The collaboration between the celebrated designer Gaetano Pesce and the mark Meritalia were born, over the years, always top quality products characterized by innovative design and very original!

The collection of Endless meetings is a project started in 1996 by designer and never finished until now.

Initially, the sitting was made of PVC extruded but result was a chair by the weight of about 120kg. Then we moved from PVC silicone that has led to some results of bending of the material but with a considerable weight is too high. The end result in hot extruded polyurethane allows a chair 30kg.

In particular, Endless meetings are accessible through a hot casting material directly on the mold. Each item is then shaped by hand according to the filmmaker’s creativity but always respecting the general directives of the project. The filament is made of polyurethane with which The End is sealed during the casting.
