The University of Milan is one of the focal points in the magma Fuorisalone Milan, and let’s face it, it’s always a pleasure to linger in the beautiful arcades and cloisters of the building whose foundation stone was laid in the mid-1400s and was built by Francesco Sforza. They commissioned the architect firm known as the Filaret, even though the work on the complex continued until the nineteenth century.
But back to our dear Fuorisalone, Anno Domini 2011: the main courtyard is a feast for the eyes, especially in these days bright. In the gallery you can see some of the installations that occupy it: the Plasteroid Jacopo Foggini with Nice, Richard Meier of the Mutated Panels with Italcementi, the outdoor seating OUT / IN by Philippe Starck for Driade, the Lightning Photovoltaic Massimo Pierattelli; ‘s Thinking of installing the Eagle by Michele De Lucchi, Mario Botta’s room with Mapei GVM with Arval and The Neighborhood by Ron Gilad De Castelli. Updates to follow.
